Meet Gail
Gail is a 2am-cappuccino person, the kind of night owl who will just get up and make one because the mood struck. Weekends are usually spent hiking or out exploring somewhere new, she's happiest outside, which might be why she ended up on the platform built entirely around communities and shelves.
She grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, and now leads the Goodreads side of an author's presence for the studio: profiles, genre shelf placement, the reader community pathways most authors don't even know exist until someone points out theirs is empty. It's a platform the rest of the industry treats as an afterthought to Amazon, which is exactly why it's usually full of gaps nobody's filled. That's Gail's work.
